Elementary Grades Career Awareness Guide |

A guide for elementary school counselors and teachers to facilitate career development
integration and to illustrate close alignment between career development competencies, the Standard Course of Study, and the ABCs.
The Guide includes sample classroom activities and a workshop format for developing a
comprehensive, sequential approach within each elementary school. Developed through DPI - Job Ready - SOICC collaboration.
A copy of the Guide was provided in the Spring of 2000 by DPI to each elementary school and to Workforce Development and
Student Services Directors. As SOICC enters a transition period following the loss of part of its federal funding, some resources previously available online have been taken offline for further review, and currently are only available through the SOICC office. |
