Occupational employment projections data are collected, analyzed, and compiled on the national and state levels every two years. These data are used to forecast employment trends over a 10-year period. Note that projections are just that: projections, or estimates, of employment trends that are likely to occur, based on labor market conditions at the time the survey data were collected. State labor market information used in this section was compiled by the Labor Market Information Division of the North Carolina Employment Security Commission.
